West Des Moines has very good schools. I think they even have a separate building for their 9th graders (freshman academy type setting). I don't know of any "bad" areas. It's a pretty wealthy community and it very conveniently located near Des Moines.

Where do I send an email to complain about a horrible stay at Valley West Inn, West Des Moines, IA?
My husband, daughter, two grandsons age 4 and 5 booked two nights at Valley West Inn, and had a dangerous thing happened in the swimming pool which my two grandsons could have gotten hurt, my husband complained to the front office, and they wouldn't do anything about it, so we decided to check out after only being there for a couple hours, and the person in charge said that our credit card would be credited for both nights, will two months later still have not seen any credit on my credit card, so who do I contact, they do not have any email address or customer service link to get me to them, I did send them a letter in the mail explaining the whole situation but have not gotten any thing back from them. HELP!!-

1st - dispute the credit card charge with your credit card company ASAP. There is generally a grace period of 60 days to dispute charges, and the dispute must be in writing. Some credit card companies will allow you to do this online.
2nd - file a complaint with your local Better Business Bureau.
3rd - consider small claims court
