Although the annual Bonnaroo Music Festival is best known for its music-last year's headliners included Phish, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Snoop Dogg and Nine Inch Nailsa"the Manchester, Tenn. festival also showcases an impressive array of comedians. In the past, Bonnaroo has featured hilarious entertainers like Jimmy Fallon, Chris Rock, Lewis Black, David Cross, Zach Galifianakis, Dave Attel and Louis CK, and this year, none other than Conan O'Brien will perform. Hosting Bonnaroo's "Which" stage and performing in the Comedy Theatre, O'Brien is on the road after Jay Leno took back his late night throne. The flame-haired funny man remains under contract with NBC until the fall and decided to embark on a road trip until his return to the small screen.
The 2010 edition of the Bonnaroo Music Festival will also feature a batch of up-and-coming comedians like Pete Holmes, Kumail Nanjiani, Reggie Watts and Amy Schumer hitting the road for the Bonnaroo Comedy Tour. The side-splitting tour kicks off at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana on April 1 and will continue on to college campuses like Iowa State University in Aimes, Drake University in Des Moines, University of North Carolina and the University of Wisconsin in Platteville. More dates and additional comedians are expected to be announced in the near future.
When it comes to music, Bonnaroo organizers did it again this year, lining up Jay-Z, Dave Matthews, Kings of Leon and Stevie Wonder as headliners. Jay-Z will perform a late-night set on Saturday, June 12 on the "What" stage after Wonder's headlining gig. Billboard.com reports that the lineup for the 2010 festival arrived on Feb. 9 and didn't disappoint festival-goers. Bonnaroo is the Grammy-winning Kings of Leon's only scheduled U.S. show of 2010, and the Southern band joins the likes of previously-announced acts Regina Spektor, Ingrid Michaelson, the xx, Steve Martin & the Steep Canyon Rangers, OK Go, Phoenix, Weezer, Jeff Beck, the Flaming Lips and White Dwarfs (performing a special late-night set of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon), Bassnectar, Blues Traveler, Avett Brothers and Chromeo with Daryl Hall.
Bonnaroo will take place June 10-13 this summer and will also see artists like Zac Brown Band, the National, John Prine, Neon Indian, Kid Cudi, Jimmy Cliff, Tokyo Police Club, She & Him, Dr. Dog, Thievery Corporation, Norah Jones, the Black Keys, Manchester Orchestra, Rise Against, Rebellution, Tori Amos, Baaba Maal, the Dead Weather, Jay Electronica, Local Natives and many other artists performing.

QUESTION:
is drake university in des moines iowa a good school?
i am researching colleges and I am imterested in Drake University in Des Moines Iowa I was just wondering if anyone has any personal experience there?
i want some kind of social life and a good campus life. I also want to major in elementary education. is their program good?
thanks!-
ANSWER:
Hey! I am a freshman at Drake and I loveee it! I'm in the pharmacy program, but I do have a few friends who are education majors and they seem to really enjoy it. The campus is pretty small compared to state schools, but who wants to get lost in a crowd of 20,000+ people anyways? The campus is beautiful and they just renovated all the freshman dorms in the past year or two. There is DEFINITELY a good night life!! Sure you have to study hard here, but we know how to have a funnn time on the weekends! I would highly recommend scheduling a visit; I'm so glad I did. For sure the best decision I've ever made. I think if you look on www.drake.edu there should be a link somewhere for the admissions page. If you have any other questions, email me. Hope this helps!
